Within any patient call, Synthpop's voice agent can now collect a patient's payment through a secure, PCI DSS–compliant flow – no live-agent handoff, no follow-up payment link.
Healthcare organizations are steadily bringing AI into the patient journey: scheduling reminders, benefit checks, refill outreach. But plenty of steps still require a person, and payment collection has been one of the harder ones to automate: taking a card number inside an AI-led conversation means keeping that conversation secure and compliant.
Now, on a voice call, Synthpop's voice agent can take a patient from "here's what you owe" to "payment received" without ever handing it off to a human. Card entry runs through a secure, masked flow that keeps card data out of PCI DSS scope for Synthpop, so the interaction stays compliant from start to finish.
What makes the payment step meaningful is everything happening around it. Synthpop’s voice agents are connected to the systems providers already run their operations on, so from the moment a patient is identified the agent is working from that patient’s live record: what they are eligible to reorder, what documentation is on file, and what they owe. Why it matters
